Pattie Ingredients
400g Turkey Breast Mince
1/2 Onion, finely chopped
2 Garlic Cloves, minced
30g Parsley
1 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
2 Tbsp Tomato Puree
1 Small Zucchini, grated
1 Small Carrot, grated
1 Egg
1 tsp Olive Oil, for cooking
Burger Assembly
4 Wholemeal Burger Buns
Toppings
Lettuce, Tomato, Beetroot, Cheese
Health conscious sauce (e.g. hummus,/whole-egg low fat mayo,/wholegrain mustard)
Procedure:
Mix all of the pattie ingredients (except for the olive oil) together in a large mixing bowl. Add salt and pepper to taste as well as any spices of your choice.
Set aside pattie mix and prepare any burger toppings.
Heat a large pan (or use the BBQ) on medium heat and add grease with olive oil. Use your hands to make 4 evenly sized burger shaped patties from the pattie mix. Place on the pan and cook until the bottom has browned slightly, then flip and cook until cooked through.
Assemble burger patties on a lightly toasted wholemeal bun and add toppings of your choice.
TIPS
Serve with a side of roasted sweet potato or a baked spud!
